The history of chemical engineering at Shiraz University, established in 1967, is close to the national history of chemical engineering in Iran! Its background is rooted in training of experts for oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
Lab-based coursework is an essential part of education that provides the opportunity for students to put their theoretical concepts into applied experimental activities. We believe in the significance of such courses in development of the student's team working and problem solving skills.
