The Third “A Beginning of an End” Event of the School of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, on the occasion of Research Week. The event “A Beginning of an End” is an exhibition showcasing master’s theses and doctoral dissertations of students from the School of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at Shiraz University. The exhibition is designed and organized by the School’s Research Affairs Office in celebration of Research Week. Considering that student theses—while concluding a chapter of students’ academic journey—can serve as a starting point for collaboration between the university and industry, and potentially lead to industrial application and innovation, the event has been named “A Beginning of an End.” As part of this initiative, selected students—nominated by their respective supervisors (each faculty member may recommend up to two theses)—must prepare a poster of their thesis according to the designated template. These posters will be presented in an exhibition during Research Week, and awards will be granted to the top submissions. Graduates from October 1, 2024 onward may participate, and after receiving approval from their supervisors, must upload their thesis poster along with the required attachments on the School’s website or via the link provided in the event poster no later than December 8, 2025.
