In line with enhancing educational quality and strengthening university–industry collaboration, graduate students of the Chemical Engineering Department, School of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at Shiraz University, under the supervision of Dr. Reza Eslamloueyan, esteemed faculty member of the Department of Chemical Engineering, visited the Shiraz Petrochemical Complex. This scientific visit, held on November 25, 2025, and supported by the School of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, aimed to familiarize graduate students of the Advanced Computer-Aided Design course with industrial processes and practical applications of engineering design software. During this program, students visited various units of Shiraz Petrochemical Complex, including process safety control boards, ammonia, urea, and methanol units, gaining insight into the operation, control, and optimization of these systems. In addition, during a specialized workshop on heat-exchanger design, participants learned about the principles of design, simulation, and selection of heat exchangers commonly used in the petrochemical industry. The field visit to real industrial equipment and processes provided an invaluable opportunity for students to deepen their understanding of theoretical concepts and their connection to practical industrial applications. Key outcomes of this visit included: Familiarization with large-scale petrochemical production processes Understanding industrial challenges and engineering solutions to address them Enhancing motivation for deeper and more purposeful learning of specialized courses

در راستای ارتقای کیفیت آموزش و ارتباط هرچه بیشتر دانشگاه با صنعت، دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی رشته مهندسی شیمی دانشکده مهندسی شیمی، نفت و گاز دانشگاه شیراز به سرپرستی جناب آقای دکتر رضا اسلاملوییان، عضو محترم هیئت علمی بخش مهندسی شیمی، از مجتمع پتروشیمی شیراز بازدید به عمل آوردند.

این بازدید علمی که در تاریخ ۵ آذر ماه 1404 و با حمایت دانشکده مهندسی شیمی، نفت و گاز دانشگاه شیراز برگزار شد، با هدف آشنایی دانشجویان تحصیلات تکمیلی درس طراحی پیشرفته به کمک کامپیوتر، با فرآیندهای صنعتی و کاربردهای عملی نرم‌افزارهای طراحی صورت پذیرفت. در این برنامه، دانشجویان از بخش‌های مختلف پتروشیمی شیراز از جمله بوردهای کنترل فرآیند ایمنی ، آمونیاک، اوره و متانول بازدید کردند و با نحوه کنترل و بهینه‌سازی این واحدها آشنا شدند. همچنین، در کارگاه طراحی مبدل، اصول طراحی، شبیه‌سازی و انتخاب مبدل‌های حرارتی مورد استفاده در صنعت پتروشیمی را فراگرفتند. بازدید میدانی از تجهیزات و فرآیندهای واقعی این مجتمع صنعتی، فرصتی بی‌نظیر برای درک بهتر مفاهیم تئوری و ارتباط آن با کاربردهای عملی فراهم آورد.
